Geshe Thupten Dorjee, is a highly trained Geshe (teacher) in mindfulness, meditation and compassion. He is a professor of Buddhist philosophy at the University of Arkansas. He is our expert on call to help our clients create more directed attention, mindfulness and meditation practices. Many clients who come to us are stress, and learning to calm the mind is key to creating an optimal work environment, so positive behavioral changes can be made. Dr. Dorjee addresses stress reduction based on ancient practices of meditation developed by Buddhist scholars in India and Tibet. Western medical research has documented benefits of a regular meditation practice, including: lowered blood pressure and heart rate, increased immunity to disease, improved concentration, lower chronic and acute pain levels, fewer instances of stress-related chronic disease, and generally higher levels of well-being.
